Mike started shaping in 1996 and has already shaped thousands of boards under labels like Rusty, Sharp Eye, Xanadu, G & S, Kane Garden, Lightning Bolt, Rossin, Hynson, and his own label, Walker. For his every pass of his planner he is focused on one thing…To offer the most versatile line of high quality surfboards. Five years ago he was contacted by wake surfers to design boards specifically for this emerging sport. Over this time he has expanded his surfboard line to include a wide array of wake surfing boards and after an incredible amount of research and design is considered to be among the highest echelon of board designers. In 2007 Mike was a judge at the wake surfing Worlds.
